Next week, Shatterproof Founder and CEO Gary Mendell will speak on Addiction and Mental Health in the Era of Coronavirus on November 5, 2020, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM on Zoom.
Mr. Mendell is the founder and CEO of Shatterproof, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the devastation the disease of addiction causes families. After losing his son Brian to addiction in 2011, Mr. Mendell founded Shatterproof to spare other families of the tragedy his family suffered.
This free Virtual Speaker Event is sponsored by NAMI Southwest CT, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest grassroots, nonprofit organization aimed at improving the quality of life for people living with mental health conditions and their families. NAMI Southwest CT serves lower Fairfield County, Connecticut, offering free support groups, education, and advocacy opportunities.
