Recovery Orientated Practice
Recovery is Possible
We are working on a fully featured page on recovery-oriented practice. The full version of this page will be coming soon.
If you are looking for a good resource on recovery-oriented practice, you may wish to refer to the RtoR-recommended “A Practical Guide to Recovery-Oriented Practice” by Davidson, Tondora, Lawless, O’Connell and Rowe. Dr. Larry Davidson, PhD, the lead author, is a Professor of Psychology at the Yale University Department of Psychiatry and Director of the Program for Recovery & Community Health. In this guide book for practitioners, he articulates a strong case for why recovery, both as a process and a goal, is a realistic hope for people living with serious mental illness.
